The Center Director Structural Information Report (CD Report) is based on data collected annually by the IUCRC Evaluation Project at NC State University from the Directors of all actively-funded IUCRCs. The report includes center structural information, membership information, funding sources, operating expenses, workforce development, academic & commercial outcomes, R&D activities, and center personnel during the reporting period. In the Google Drive link below, you will find annual reports for fiscal year 1986-1987 through fiscal year 2019-2020. You will also find an annually-updated slideset tracking trends in the CD report data over time.

The IUCRC Process/Outcome Reports (PO Report) is based on data collected by the local evaluators for actively-funded IUCRCs during each annual reporting period. The national report is based on surveys with IUCRC stakeholders, primarily IUCRC members and faculty. In the Google Drive link below, you will find annual reports for fiscal year 1991-1992 through fiscal year 2018-2019. You will also find an annually-updated slideset tracking trends in the PO report data over time. While surveys have undergone several revisions over the years, the member surveys typically focused on member satisfaction with center operations and research processes and the outcomes/benefits resulting from their membership (including networking, R&D, tech translation, and commercialization outcomes). The faculty survey focused on satisfaction with and commitment to the IUCRCs in which they participated as well as their suggestions to improve center research and operations. Faculty from centers in their first five years filled out a longer survey, which also included questions about the impact of participation for faculty professional development and career advancement. Student surveys are also included in more recent year reports (beginning in fiscal year 2015-2016). The student survey focused on their participation in center training opportunities, impact of their participation on their skills development and career goals, as well as their suggestions for improvement.
